BubbleIdeas lets you set up mass-communication terminal in an instant. These terminals can crowd-source and sort conversations based on semantic relevance and social engagement. Now you can easily let people talk to you collaboratively, while you get to understand the common needs of the people.
A decision making tool.
BubbleIdeas helps you take informed decisions. Decisions that are supported by a vast majority of people. Socially vetted ideas not only help you improve your business processes but also adapt according to the changing needs of society.
We highly recommend BubbleIdeas if you feel collective experience of the crowd is crucial for your brand, product or society.
Popular or unpopular.
BubbleIdeas sorts on the principle of social popularity. Now popularity is a very fluid concept. Any media savvy person would understand that "any publicity is good publicity". BubbleIdeas adopts the concept quite intelligently, and complex-ifies the sorting processes to avoid only the most positively voted ideas from reaching the top. It sorts ideas based on social engagement only giving good or the bad ideas equal weight.
Now this process is very useful for Governments or Organizations who want to look at both the sides of a coin. For example, protecting the interests of a minority community is impossible if one considers only top-most voted ideas. While actions on popular ideas do reward any business, but resolving a totally unpopular idea brings more "wow" in the community. BubbleIdeas acts like a constant stream of ideas to ensure your leadership over the years.
Social nature.
Leverage the social nature of internet. BubbleIdeas integrates with most common social utilities available in the world. For example discussions can happen on Twitter, or on Facebook or someone could embed slides from SlideShare or a video from YouTube to explain his/her point of view. BubbleIdeas captures every valuable service in the world so that you don't miss out on anyone.
Power of API.
APIs are good. Lets your skilled evangelists do the task of creating useful applications for the entire community. BubbleIdeas believes in the power of developers and follows Minimum API Standard (MAS) principle for all communities hosted/licensed on it.
Introduction: Gov 2.0
In September, 2009 Tim O’Reilly wrote a guest post on Techcrunch on the topic of Gov 2.0 Summit. Among his insights most striking was the point that Gov 2.0 should aim to be a platform for citizens to build on, a kind of civic-action organizing engine for the people rather than the current “vending machine” model where we pay taxes and get certain services.
We thought of supporting such a platform, ever since!
Objective:
Engage the online users to collaborate & solve modern day challenges with their ideas and opinions, and utilize social landscape to understand what people want, why is it important, and what is the priority.
Social internet
More than 73 percent of Americans use the Internet. With online shopping, social networks, emails, tweets, wikis etc. Internet is one social aggregate all set to become an indispensable resource for everyone. That makes it an interesting opportunity to reach out and engage people for a collaborative effort, collective intelligence and social contribution for specific improvements in the society. It could be anything such as nation building or product improvement or relationship building.
BubbleIdeas forums
BubbleIdeas can bring leadership & people closer. While designing the application, we have specially borne in mind that the ultimate goal of a Gov 2.0 tool is to let people talk to each other & then take resultant voice to the leaders.
Within the sub-structure of Governance i.e leadership, middle-men and the citizens, BubbleIdeas acts like an impeccable tool at every level to stimulate collective thinking and help carry conversations back and forth between people and the leaders. Thus leading to representative decisions. And since hierarchy is essential for any operation, BubbleIdeas utilizes role-based approach for distribution of work in a very clear manner.
Also, our developer API ensures open and conducive contribution from the society to create downstream applications reaching closer to that final goal which neither Government nor the individuals could do alone.
